Item v6416 ... Price: $140
An elegant early 1960's beige silk dress. Couldn't decide whether to place this in day wear or cocktail wear... not all that dressy, but because of the sheen of the silk possibly not quite casual enough to be career wear, etc... Might make a nice simple courthouse wedding dress. Fitted bodice with 3/4 length sleeves and wonderful floral appliques. Straight, pleated skirt with short rear center seam slit. Side metal zipper. Unlined and may require a slip (not included)? String belt loops but no belt. "Carlye," label.
Size: (need help with your measurements? click here)
36" bust, 26" waist, 37" hips. Approximately 42" from shoulder to hem.
Condition: In good condition. A hint of lipstick at the collar (not bad). Slight yellow to the underarms. There is a random stitch at the waist but I have no idea what it could be for. A tiny spot under the belt loop. An orange pin dot on the rear bodice and another on the skirt. A spot of iron shine on the rear skirt.
