Item v6468 ... Price: $240 SOLD An absolutely stunning early 1950's cocktail dress in a rich, heavy pink cotton lace with ribbon and metallic thread trim. Between the fabric and the construction I am floored that this dress does not have at least a high end store label in it, let alone a fine designer label... sadly it has neither. Sheer bodice with slightly belled 3/4 length sleeves (slightly too high to be a full 3/4 but lower than elbow), scalloped neck and back. Attached strapless liner/corset with rear hook/eye closures. Dress has a semi-full skirt with a tulle topped taffeta liner (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Matching belt and wrap are included. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 33" bust, 27" waist, free hips. Approximately 44 1/2" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. The metallic thread is black throughout, with the exception of two small areas where it is gold... this means it was all gold at one point I'm sure... looks gorgeous and makes no difference at all.
