A charming, early 1950's dress (I think it was originally worn as a sweet sixteen/coming out dress in either 1952 or 1953). Cotton organdy with embroidered cutowork flowers. Strapless bodice and a full acetate skirt (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Side metal zipper. Dress is lined in acetate. Bodice is boned. Matching sheer jacket with self fabric buttons, tie waist and balloon sleeves.

30 1/2" bust, 22 1/2" waist, free hips. Approximately 38 1/2" from underarm to hem.
Condition: In good condition. There is a 1/4" separation on the waist seam. One brown pin dot on the skirt and a couple of faintly yellowed embroidery threads on the skirt. A pin hole on the back of the jacket. A 1/4" separation on the seam at the end of the right jacket sleeve. Three tiny orange spots on jacket. The jacket buttons are discolored as is the thread underneath them (could remove and replace with a pearl button instead).
