Item v6533 ... Price: $295 SOLD An AMAZING 1950's wedding gown in yard upon yard of cream silk taffeta. GORGEOUS ecru lace and tan tulle insets at the chest, shoulders and sides of skirt. Accented on the lace portions with clusters of faux pearls and tiny, subtle iridescent sequins. Long sleeves with pointed, buttoned wrists. Gown has a tremendously full skirt (shown here with a small bridal hoop... not included) with a long, full train. SKirt is backed in a heavy interfacing to give it shape. Buttons up the back with 36 satin and lace covered buttons. Feels like a good gown but there are no labels (even in the 50's I can't imagine what so many yards of silk taffeta must have cost!) Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 32" bust, 23 1/2" waist, free hips. Approximately 58 1/2" from shoulder to hem. 67 Condition: In good condition. This dress literally just came in to the shop about an hour ago so we haven't done a thing to it. If it does not sell right away we will make repairs and relist accordingly. Tiny bit of underrm marking left side only. There are some breaks in the lace at the shoulders but the way they are backed with layers of tulle they blend in (and the shoulders DO NOT feel fragile). Tear on the lace at the rear bodice. Two tears in the lace on the right skirt panel and three on the left (looks like maybe she got caught on something)... neither of these is immediately visible, again because of the way the lace is backed in tulle... these could easily be tacked down to avoid any further catching. A short orange line and three orange pin dots on the front skirt. A tiny orange mark at the front hem. SOme wear to the lace covering on the buttons of the back. One off colored applique on the rear bodice. Two dots on the rear skirt. One loose cluster of pearls.
