CUPCAKE Gathered Ivory Tulle 1950's Cocktail Dress Item v6577 ... Price: $335 SOLD A cool ivory point d'esprit tulle confection from the 1950's. This would make a wonderful wedding dress! Strapless, heart shaped gathered tulle bodice. Someone created a wired tulle rosette for the center bodice (probably not original)... it was removed when the dress was cleaned and I think the dress has a much nicer look without it, so it is currently pinned in place for you to decide. This dress has an AMAZING gathered tulle A-line skirt topped with velveteen bows (seems like there are more bows on the rear of the skirt than the front). The skirt has a slim liner skirt underneath but has it's own crinoline on top of that... you will not be able to add any additional fullness to this skirt. Rear metal zipper. Lined. Bodice is boned. A litle bit on the heavy side so shipping may be slightly more. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 34" bust, 25" waist, 35" hips. Approximately 38" from underarm to hem. Condition: In good condition. Freshly cleaned but possibly still not 100% as bright as it could be? Velvet bows are a little shiny.
