Will Steinman Tan Lace & Aqua Taffeta 1950's Evening Gown Item v6592 ... Price: $265 SOLD A fabulous 1950's evening gown in aqua acetate covered in tan tulle and rows of ruffled sand/tan colored lace. Strapless, peaked bodice (typically this shape would indicate that there should have been straps, but there is no indication that straps were ever attached to the dress). Dress has a wonderful fitted trumpet shaped skirt. Side metal zipper. Bodice is boned. "Will Steinman Original," label. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 36" bust, 27" waist, 37" hips. Approximately 49" from underarm to hem. Condition: In good condition. There is a well hidden repair to the tulle under the 6th lace tier (you can see about 1/2" of it but it does NOT jump out... it had not yet been done when the photos was taken so if you see a tiny bit of sag in the photo it has been corrected). Some discoloration to the lining that does not show through. The tulle under the last tier of lace on the skirt has a notch out (not really visible).         Click on above images to enlarge.
