Item v6597 ... Price: $180 A charming 1950's cocktail dress in pin pleated black taffeta and plush black velvet. Square neckline. Lovely flowing skirt (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Rear metal zipper (zipper works but the dress was just a touch too snug for the form and I didn't want to force it up). String belt loops but no belt. Label reads, "Fashioned by Jane Hodges New York." Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 33" bust, 24" waist, free hips. Approximately 42 1/2" from shoulder to hem (has been hemmed by hand about 2 1/2." You can let it down but it may leave a mark in the velvet?). Condition: In good condition. Three tiny faint surface dust spots. A pick and a pin hole to the taffeta.
