Item v6619 ... Price: $180 A lovely 1950's dress that would make a great alternative wedding dress. Strapless bodice with finely pleated, wrapped bust and flounce at the left side. Dress has a full, tiered, handkerchief hemmed skirt. Lined in acetate. Side metal zipper. Bodice is boned. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 34" bust, 25" waist, free hips. Approximately 41 1/2" from underarm to hem. Condition: In good condition. Some scattered tiny holes in the lower tiers of tulle. Four notches of varying size missing from the tulle at the front hem (see photo)... hemming the dress 3 1/2 to 4" would eliminate this. There is a tear in the third tier of tulle on the rear skirt, mostly obscured by the second tier. Everything is hand cut. A random brown thread at the waist. Freshly cleaned.
