Red Nylon & White Lace 1960's Cocktail Dress Item v6639 ... Price: $129 A striking 1960's cocktail dress in red nylon chiffon and white cotton lace. White lace, sleeveless bodice lined in red acetate. Dress has a semi-full nylon skirt (also lined in acetate). Rear metal zipper. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 35" bust, 27" waist, " hips. Approximately 40" from shoulder to hem (about 15" from shoulder to waist). Condition: In wearable condition. The lace has picked up a slight, even pinkish hue. I think someone attempted to iron this with a hot iron (sigh...) and crimped it/permanently wrinkled it in two places along the hem, one of which also has some some small holes from the heat (?). In addition, there is a pea sized hole in the front skirt (center) and one on the rear hem. There are also a few scattered tiny holes in the skirting. The floral lace is unravelling near the waist a bit. Light yellow at underarm edges. Two inches of the side skirt seam is frayed. The only thing I think that stands out on first impression is the hole at center skirt, though.         Click on above images to enlarge.
