Floating Red Chiffon 1950's Prom Dress w/ Velvet Trim Item v6640 ... Price: $199 A wonderful late 1950's cocktail dress in cherry red nylon chiffon. Fully, gathered, fitted, elongated bodice with velvet trim and spaghetti straps. dress has a lovely, floating skirt (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Bodice is boned. Lined. Rear metal zipper. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 31 1/2" bust (taken in), 24" waist, " hips. Approximately 46 1/2" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. A few tiny picks to the chiffon. The straps seem a little long and I'm wondering if these were originally the lingerie straps, moved into this position when the bodice was taken in... not such an issue, they can be tucked for strapless or tacked to shorten. There are snaps INSIDE the bodice so there was probably some sort of removable sash at some point (no longer with the dress).         Click on above images to enlarge.
