AMAZING Plaid Taffeta & Navy Marquisette 1950's Cocktail Dress w/ Long Jacket Item v6702 ... Price: $275 An AMAZING 1950's Cocktail Ensemble. Navy and cream plaid taffeta covered in navy marquisette. Fitted cuffed bodice with plaid taffeta straps. Dress has a medium full skirt (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Side metal zipper. Bodice is boned. Matching self belt. Matching sheer jacket with cuffed sleeves and collar. Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 31 1/2" bust, 23" waist, free hips. Approximately 47" from shoulder to hem. Condition: In good condition. Straps have a tiny bit of a yellowy hue. Hem is a little uneven. For lack of anything better to call it, there is a bruise to the marquisette on the bust (depending on how the layers move, it is sometimes visible and sometimes not). Looks like the straps were removed from the rear of the dress and then shortened and retacked (current length seems reasonable). Someone put a couple of tack stitches in the collar of the jacket. About a half dozen tiny holes on the hem edge of the jacket.             Click on above images to enlarge.
