Item v6742 ... Price: $190 SOLD
A charming 1950's dress in embroidered ivory nylon chiffon. The type of dress that would have been worn as a graduation dress or something similar, but today would make a beautiful alternative wedding dress. Short sleeved bodice with modest neckline and seven rhinestone buttons up the front. Gathered ivory acetate waist. Dress has a nice, full skirt with an attached tulle underlayer (shown here with an additonal crinoline... not included). Rear metal zipper. Lined in ivory acetate.
Size: (need help with your measurements? click here)
35" bust, 25" waist, free hips. Approximately 45" from shoulder to hem.
Condition: In good condition. Freshly cleaned. This dress was dark brown when it came to us... it is now nice and lovely and fresh, however it may not be 100% as bright an ivory as it once was (though not bad at all, maybe 95%). The rhinestones have darkened a bit. Couple fo places where the embroidery has some orangey discoloration... mostly not visible, but see photo inset for worst spot of it (rear skirt). A couple of pulled embroidery threads.
