Item v6773 ... Price: $289 SOLD An OUSTANDING 1950's dress in beige taffeta & tulle. Strapless, fitted taffeta bodice with winding taffeta trim, prong set rhinestones and dangling teardrop shaped faux pearls. Inset of pumpkin satin at the bust trails around the back and becomes a bow/sash at the rear waist. Dress has a SUPER full tulle skirt with a tiered, ruffled underlayer (shown here with a crinoline... not included). Rear metal zipper (please note that the zipper is fully functional, the dress was simly too snug for the form). Bodice is boned. This is a really nice piece but has no labels (a pressers tag but nothing else). Size: (need help with your measurements? click here) 32" bust (taken in from about 33, but if you let it back out you might see some ghost stitching), 25" waist, free hips. Approximately 41 1/2" from underarm to hem. Condition: In good condition. There is a tiny repair to the waist (you'll never see it I'm sure... but I know it has been done). There is a repair done with invisible thread on the rear skirt under the bow (not easily seen). There are five tiny holes in the tulle in the skirt and a one inch slit (none are immediately visible). A darkened rhinestone on the bodice. A couple of the hooks for the teardrop pearls have oxidized slightly (I doubt you'll notice when on). There is a stress on the skirt lining (not visible and not an issue).
