Lovely 1950's Short Lace Wedding / Prom Dress Item v846 ... Price: $85  A very lovely 1950's wedding dress in white lace. The fitted bodice is beaded with pearl trim at the neckline. Sheer short sleeves. Full skirt has a scalloped hemline and double crinolines. 26 button closure in the rear. The rear also has two rows of tulle rosetttes. Dress is fully lined in white acetate. 35" bust, 26" waist, full hips. Approximately 42" from shoulder to hem. In good, wearable condition, however there are two breaks in the lace that will need to be mended (one small one on the right shoulder and one slightly larger one at the right side of the waist). There is a full layer of tulle under the lace, so by just tacking the lace down, the breaks should be invisible. Also, two of the buttons in the rear are missing. There is enough fabric in the crinolines to cover two buttons to match, though. All in all it really is a WONDERFUL dress and well worth the effort.
